One big difference between this phone's camera and my old iPhone's camera is that this phone actually takes a picture when you want it to and not five seconds later! On some pictures that I took I had to adjust the color balance but I imagine that you'll need to do that on any camera that's in a phone. The flash is pretty good too and not too bright where it looks harsh. Video recording is gorgeous in 1080p although it uses the battery pretty quickly .
